Everything you need to build a card, get found, and share your work on conjor.
Last updated: September 11, 2026
Getting started
1. Create an account
Sign up at the signup page. conjor uses single sign-on — Continue with Google or Continue with Discord — so there is no password to remember, and we never see one.
2. Pick a display name and a profession
The first time you sign in you'll land on a short setup wizard:
- Display name — letters, numbers and hyphens, up to 30 characters. It's public, must be unique, and on the Pro plan it becomes part of your card's URL. You can change it later under Settings → Profile.
- Profession — the category you want to be discovered under in the directory. You can declare up to three and change them at any time.
A random, permanent 6-character account slug is assigned at signup. It's the fallback address for your card and it can never be changed.
3. Build and publish
Your editor lives at Edit Card. Add components, arrange the grid, and hit Save Changes. Nothing is public until you flip the publish switch under Settings → Card.
Tip: Use Preview in the editor toolbar to see exactly what a visitor sees — including the mobile layout — without leaving the page.
Your card's address
| Plan | Primary URL | Also works at |
|---|---|---|
| Hobby | conjor.io/u/<your-slug> | — |
| Pro | <your-name>.conjor.io | conjor.io/u/<slug> |
On Pro, the subdomain is derived from your display name and updates automatically when you change it. Links to your account slug keep working either way.
You can copy your live URL — or grab a QR code — from Settings → Card, and jump to the public page any time via View public card in the editor.
Editing your card
A card is made of two things: a profile at the top (always present) and a bento grid of components below it.
The three buttons on every block
Hover or tap a component in edit mode and you get a small toolbar:
| Button | What it controls |
|---|---|
| Drag handle | Move the block to a new position in the grid |
| Pencil | Content — text, links, images, numbers, videos: anything a visitor reads |
| Cog | Appearance and structure — colors, background, style variant, columns, delete |
The split is strict: content is only ever edited in the pencil modal, and looks are only ever edited in the cog drawer. If a component has no editable content — like Latest Posts — it has no pencil.
Sizing and layout
- Drag a block's edge to make it wider or narrower.
- Blocks built from a single element can also be dragged taller or shorter. Blocks made of several stacked parts size themselves — turn parts on and off in the cog and the height follows.
- Reorder by dragging. The grid reflows automatically on mobile.
Saving
Edits are batched. The toolbar shows Unsaved changes until you press Save Changes, which commits everything at once. Leaving the page with unsaved edits discards them.
Tabs — Pro
Pro cards can be split across up to 10 tabs (for example Home, Work, Press), each with its own grid. Add one from the tab bar in the editor, name it, and drag components into it.
Components
Open the picker with + Add component. Search by name, browse by section, or use a preset — Professional, Portfolio, Developer, Creator and others — to see only the blocks that fit the card you're building. Once you've declared a profession, blocks suited to it also appear in a Recommended row.
| Component | Section | What it does |
|---|---|---|
| Rich Text | Text | Formatted paragraphs with styling |
| Tag Group | Text | A row of labels, skills, or chips |
| Image | Media | A single photo, illustration, or graphic |
| Video | Media | Embed a YouTube, Vimeo, Twitch, or Kick video |
| Gallery | Media | Images and YouTube videos as a carousel, fade, or spotlight |
| Twitch Channel | Media | Live status, viewer count, and current game — updated automatically |
| Button | Interactive | A single clickable link |
| Button Group | Interactive | A row of customizable buttons |
| Links | Interactive | Icon links laid out in 1–3 columns |
| List | Info | Vertical rows with dates — work history, roles, credits |
| Project | Info | A featured item with image, date, and tags |
| Project Group | Info | A stack of projects sharing one set of settings |
| Timeline | Info | Dated entries threaded on a vertical rail |
| Article | Info | Feature one piece of writing with its cover |
| Publications | Info | Papers with venue, authors, and abstract |
| Stats | Info | Big-number callouts — clients, followers, years |
| Endorsements | Info | Vouches your connections wrote for you |
| GitHub Activity | Info | Your contribution graph for the last year |
| Game Rank | Gaming | Your rank in a game |
| Post Preview | Posts | Your latest post — cover, title, timestamp — Pro |
| Latest Posts | Posts | Your three latest posts plus a link to the rest — Pro |
Hobby cards hold up to 8 components. Pro cards are unlimited. Pro-only blocks stay visible in the picker with a lock badge, so you can see what's available before upgrading.
Look and feel
The cog in the editor toolbar controls the card as a whole:
- Palette — recolor the card from a set of curated palettes, or tune the colors yourself. You can save up to 5 named palettes and reuse them.
- Background — a solid, a gradient, or a geometric Grid / Dots pattern.
- Font — Nunito Sans, Inter, DM Sans, Space Grotesk, Poppins, Sora, Geist, or Bricolage Grotesque.
- Change Layout — the overall arrangement of profile and grid.
The profile has five styles of its own — Minimal, Banner, Editorial, Ledger, and Portrait split — chosen from its cog. Your name, tagline, avatar, and banner are edited with its pencil.
Your site theme (light or dark for the app itself, separate from your card's palette) lives under Settings → Profile.
Templates
Templates are pre-built cards you can apply in one click. Browse them, open the preview to see the result before committing, then apply.
Applying a template replaces your card's style and structure — theme, layout, profile style, components, and tabs. It keeps your identity: name, tagline, avatar, banner, posts, and connections all survive. Templates matching a profession you've declared are surfaced first.
Posts — Pro
Pro users can publish markdown posts from Card → Posts.
- Each post has a title, an optional cover image, and a markdown body, with a live editor and a draft / published toggle.
- Published posts live at
conjor.io/u/<slug>/postsand.../posts/<post-slug>. - Signed-in visitors can like a post and leave a comment. Threads are two levels deep: anyone can leave a top-level comment, and you — the author — can reply to each one once.
- You can delete any comment on your own posts. Commenters can delete their own.
- Surface your writing on your card with the Post Preview or Latest Posts components.
If a Pro subscription ends, posts are unpublished but never deleted — resubscribing lets you publish them again, and you can delete your own content on any plan.
Opportunities
Opportunities is a public listings board — open roles, freelance work, commissions, collaborations. Every plan can post, up to 5 opportunities per account.
- Pick a profession in the sidebar, then hit + New opportunity. A profession has to be selected first, since that's what scopes the listing.
- Write it in the same markdown editor as posts, add a cover, and fill in the filter attributes so the right people find it.
- Optionally attach an organization block — logo, name, and a link — so readers know who's behind the listing.
- Save it as a draft if it isn't ready. Your own drafts are pinned to the top of the list and are invisible to everyone else.
Opportunities live only on /opportunities — there's no per-user listings page. Listings are ranked by views, how completely they're filled in, and how recently they were posted.
Networking and discovery
The directory is where people find each other. It's public, and it reads only from what you deliberately choose to publish.
Declaring how you're found
Everything is set under Networking → Profession:
- Region — where you're based, from a fixed list of world regions (North America, South America, UK & Ireland, Western Europe, Africa, South Asia, East Asia, and others).
- Availability — Looking for work (green, and it boosts your ranking), Open to work (yellow), or Unavailable (hidden entirely — a private state).
- Professions — up to 3 broad fields, such as Healthcare, Software & IT, Design, Education & Coaching, Finance & Accounting, Skilled Trades, Media & Content, or Hospitality & Events. Every industry has one.
- Visibility — the values people can filter you by, picked per profession: your specialty within each field (Healthcare → Nursing, Software & IT → Backend, and so on), years of experience, and — for a few fields — one or two extras such as primary software or language.
Nothing is scraped from your card. You pick every value, and a single Save commits the lot.
Tip: Attributes you leave empty show as blank chips on your directory card. Filling them in makes you match more searches and reads as a more complete profile.
Searching
Choose a profession in the sidebar to unlock its filters, or stay on All professions for a region / experience / availability search across everyone. /network and /opportunities share the same sidebar and the same vocabulary — same filters, different results.
Connections
Connections are mutual. Send a request from any profile with the Connect button, and manage everything from Networking → Connections:
- Incoming requests to accept or decline
- Outgoing requests you can cancel
- Your connections, with the option to disconnect
- Recommended people, suggested from your profession and existing network
A badge appears in the sidebar when requests are waiting. Your connection count is public and contributes to your ranking in the directory.
Visibility and analytics
Visibility is your performance dashboard, filterable to the last 7, 30, or 90 days, or all time:
- Total views, and views in the selected period with the change vs. the prior period
- A daily view chart
- Referrers — where visitors came from
- Countries — where they are
- A per-post table: views, comments, likes, and average time on page
- A per-opportunity table: views, status, and average time on page
Card analytics require Pro. Opportunity metrics are available on every plan.

| Hobby (free) | Pro ($5/month) | |

| Bento components | 8 | Unlimited |
| Card URL | conjor.io/u/<slug> | <name>.conjor.io |
| Tabs | — | Up to 10 |

Upgrade or manage your subscription under Account Tier. Billing runs through Stripe — cancel any time from the billing portal, and Pro stays active until the end of the period you've already paid for.
Uploads
Images and video you add to your card count toward your storage allowance. Current usage is shown in the editor's cog menu.
- Keep images reasonably sized — a 5 MB photo doesn't look better than a 500 KB one on a card, and it loads far slower.
- Deleting a component deletes the files it owned.
- If you're running low, clear out old components or upgrade for more room.
Troubleshooting
My card isn't visible to anyone. Check the publish toggle under Settings → Card. Unpublished cards are private.
I don't appear on /network.
You need at least one declared profession, your availability must not be set to Unavailable, and your card has to be published.
My changes disappeared. Edits only persist when you press Save Changes. The toolbar tells you when something is pending.
My subdomain doesn't work. Subdomains are a Pro feature and follow your display name. After renaming, give the change a moment to propagate, and check for typos — it's always lowercase.
An upload failed. Either the file is over the per-file limit for your plan, or you've hit your total storage allowance. Both are in the plans table above.
Account and data
- Your published content is public. Cards, posts, comments, opportunities, and directory attributes are readable by anyone and indexable by search engines. See the Privacy Policy for the full picture of what we collect and why.
- Your account slug is permanent. Your display name is not, and can be changed at any time.
- Deletion and data export are handled by hand for now. Email us from your account address and we'll take care of it.
The Terms of Use cover the rules of the road, including what you may and may not publish.
